Satisfaction

Ahhhhhh. It was so satisfying to beat WVU on Saturday. That was a great game on so many levels: it was close and we won. And it came down to the last play (although it should not have), which makes for euphoria at the end. And then our fans taunting the WVU fans... while I don't condone it... was pretty darn funny. According to Tom, they were chanting "ACC". Oh man... I wouldn't want to be a VT fan at the Morgantown game next year! But it also reminded me of the not-so-good-ol' days of hokie football. When we weren't expected to be any good and the season rode on just one or two games. And if we won those, everyone went crazy. And it was just fun. Screw the polls... screw the championship game... just enjoy the victory for the moment. Ahhhhhhhh.
